This past Tuesday Gloria Glenn came to our Chick-fil-A and read from her book Caretta: The Top TurtleGloria put on an interactive presentation. She got ont he floor with the kids, used a measuring stick so the kids could see how big they were compared to some turtles and brought plenty of visual and tactile props as well.
The kids learned a lot about sea turtles, and so did the parents!

we missed you but certainly understand the concern about getting out in that storm. That one was a doozie!
Grrrr! I forgot all about it. And i'm a gloria fan and a turtle fan.
Actually, I thought I put it in my calendar but no reminder reminded me. Maybe i forgot the set the reminder. I need reminders to set reminders!!
Ian, you really need to hire a personal assistant. Does the WC school board have that in their budget? ;0)
